Return to Mysterious Island 2 is a wonderful adventure game with 3D graphics. The game is about a girl and her monkey who are about to be rescued from an island when suddenly their helicopter crashes into the water. At the beginning of the game you realize what to do in order to save them both. The story is presented using a mixture of 3D and 2D cartoonish graphics that are very attractive and creative. Throughout the game, you control Mina and her monkey who will wander across the island collecting objects and trying to solve the mystery of a disease that's killing the entire habitat. You can interact with all the living creatures on the island like other monkeys, raccoons, etc., exchanging objects, fighting, or talking to them. Both characters have a health meter that you can improve by eating food or water, caressing one another, among other things. You decide which character you wish to control and when, based on the their abilities. For instance, the girl is the only one who can combine objects and the monkey is able to communicate with other animals.

The game features wonderful realistic graphics and sound effects that actually make you believe you are there. The music changes from scene to scene, also contributing to creating the perfect atmosphere for every situation.
